Schmetterlinghaus

We are in the Burggarten, right in the centre of Vienna, just 200m from the opera.
The butterfly house is 280 sq.m. in area and it contains to hundreds of live free-flying tropical butterflies enjoying a full and natural life in a real tropical environment. The temperature is about 26c and the humidity is about 80%. We have no rare or unusual butterflies, only beutiful common tropical butterflies flying freely. There is a pupae cage where you can see butterflies emerging from their pupae. You can experience the whole life cycle of a butterfly.
