The main feature of the Fehmarn tropical aquarium is the great shark tank containing 400,000 l of sea water. With 40 smaller display tanks, the total volume is 700,000 l of tropically heated sea water. The aquarium lets visitors admire many different species of sharks and morays together with more than 100 marine animals in their natural habitat.
