With over 1,000 animals, 82 acres of parkland and over half a million visitors a year to look after, the task of running the Zoo is very complex! Our staff have skills ranging from animal welfare and management, through to teaching, presenting, catering, gardening, designing, joinery, painting, finance, IT, marketing, visitor services and retail.
