Blavand zoo, a cozy little zoo with a petting zoo, domesticated animals and a long range of exotic animals and birds. The animals living in this the westernmost zoo of Denmark find themselves in green and airy surroundings. In Blavand zoo you can get closer to the animals than a lot of other places, and at the same time get an exciting and even educational experience.
In Blavand Mini-Zoo there are about 400 animals from around 80 different species.
A lot of our animals are unique in Denmark! Blavand Mini-Zoo is the only place in Denmark where you can meet hyenas from Africa, Giant red Kangaroo from Australia, and the largest mammal in Europa, the European Bison is only found one other place in the country (of course ours are by far the prettiest...)
